I’m a huge mind mapper. I originally learned the technique when I was in school and have carried it through out my entire life. Mind maps help me to brainstorm, recall and learn faster than my peers. Especially once I refined the technique and developed Neural Trigger Maps (I teach these in my study skills video course). They’ve been invaluable!
At the time of this post I’ve not found a way to digitally create NTM’s. I have found other ways to help get some of my basic mind mapping done though. The best part? They are free tools!
I use Freemind for my desktop and Thinking Space for my Android. I’ve almost eliminated paper notes. Whenever I’m in a seminar or lecture they are the perfect combination. The video goes into more detail with Freemind… you can find Thinking Space on the Android marketplace.
